I'm the guy on the right with the red carnation on my lapel. Suit is a dark navy 6x4 DB Kiton Shirt is from A. Baldessarini (never heard of it before but really nice 3.5 mm top quality MOP buttons with crow-stitch in silk thread and great fabric) Sterling cufflinks with my initials Printed (the horror, Manton!) Borrelli tie light blue PS with hand-rolled white edges C&J Audley's I'll get a better picture but for now this has to do. The guy on the left is my best friend and willingly decided against a white shirt (wore one the day before that)- live it looked pretty cool and with jacket it didn't show that much. The picture was taken after a lot of dancing (rehydration with an isotonic wheat beer!) so excuse the hair. I'll get a picture of myself standing. There were only to people in DJ and one in tails (he's dancing even at world championships so it's just part of his wardrobe). I created a nice little trend with the flower and others eventually began taking roses from one of the approx. 100 bouquets in the room and the adjacent rotunda with the food. I got to bed at 11 a.m. and remained in suit and tie until then just like many of us- nice in a discotheque... The ball itself was over at 4 already but we found something to employ ourselves I might add.

You keep reposting pictures from souliers.net here. Then you said you had blessing to do so from the moderator/creator of souliers.net which happens to be Martin Nimier. And now you are claiming you are Martin Nimier??!!

Original post deleted by me. After re-reading it, I agree it was not appropriate for this thread.

In the interest of avoiding an unproductive thread-jacking, I won't quote Steven Colbert's recent spin on your RR quote or offer an opinion on why your pitch may be such a "hard sell" in certain quarters. But may I respectfully suggest using a PM or other medium for political discussions? Posting political slogans and propaganda that many members are certain to disagree with (and, of course, many are certain to agree with) is a good way to needlessly irritate people and send these enjoyable and usually agreeable threads veering seriously off-course.

Your college style is very nice..must all the male students were blue jacket?
it's not that we must wear the blue jacket, it's just that you can never really go wrong with a blue blazer, and since many of my friends went to prep school, the blue blazer is sort of ubiquitous in our wardrobes....

but thanks for the compliment

Your friends are looking pretty sharp too, though the guy could do with tightening his tie a bit. Nice choice of shirt and tie from both of you regardless.
