Brian,
I echo the advice to dress however you like. But as for where the Tony Montana reference came from, I think it's the open-neck and shirt-collar-over-suit thing:

Well I'm not exactly sure how one can comment on the suit when you can see hardly any of it based on his angle and the fact his shirt is open on top of it. For all we know, it could be sizes too big, have four buttons in the front and sleeves to the middle of his palms. But then again, that is quite the normal course for most 15 year old boys. And I will refrain on commenting on the look as I have nothing positive to say except for if you like the look, rock it. At your age, you can get away with it.

I see now, about the Tony Montana reference. It's been a little while since I have seen that movie I'm sure most everyone else doesn't think my suit screams hey! I'm a Mafioso! but even if it does, well it doesn't bother me at all. Point is, I'm not a hitman.

I think I've about hijacked this thread enough! Sorry everyone

The graininess and noise of the photo gives it that 70s look too.

Re: teddie's comment, I was merely talking about the colour of the suit, and from what I can see from the top lapel shape and shoulders, it looks fairly conservative. I would like to see a shot of the whole thing though, so we could further advise him on any fit problems, etc. that can be addressed. Would you mind, Jet?

Of course I wouldn't mind Jovan I will take a photo of the whole thing when I get home from work.

PS I'll try and get a better quality picture!

Sorry it took me a little longer than expected to get these pictures for you all

Here are the ones that turned out okay. I tried to concentrate on the length of the arms and legs on the suit for you guys, I know it is too big. Does anyone know how to hem a suit without having to get it tailored?

PS Please ignore the bad floors and mess, my house is under renovation.

My shoes (Bostonians)

I can't say I like the shoes, but the suit has nothing terribly bad about it. Is it a three-roll-two?
I can't say I like the shoes either Jovan My dad gave them to me. What kind of shoes would you recommend for this type of outfit?

And I'll probably get flamed for this, but what do you mean by a three-roll-two?

Thanks
Brian

The lapel appears to be rolling to the second button, instead of the top.

Quite like that suit.

Very much like the colour, that's for sure.

I don't think the black shoes go too well with it.

For what it's worth, I'd go with a mid-brown/chestnut shoe with that colour.

In my opinion these Bostonians are too casual looking. I think a pair of Akron's would look good with this suit:

You should also consider either buying a pair of shoe trees or stuffing you shoes with newspaper to better preserve their shape.

Thank you for the clarification Jovan. In that case yes it is a three-roll-two.

And also thanks for the shoe help, I will look into some Akrons if I can find a pair in a shade of brown.

Anybody who'd flame you for asking an honest question would have to be a real jerk. Ask away -- we're all here to learn.

I am on this picture not in stylish clothes but it is a photo of me and my horse Mischa.
