I've read quite a few of his posts and he's never bothered me. If he had I would not have bashed him publicly. Really we try not to trash each other on here -- some do, but it's best kept to a minimum. It's not good form. Think of this as a neighborhood pub. You don't stop in for an afternoon pint expecting to get your balls busted.

Agreed. I think the problem is that the first post by Scarmebb was not intended to be constructive. The question Jovan asked was whether narrow lapels worked for him. (I cannot really comment since the photo is too dark on my monitor.) He was not asking for a gratuitous comment on whether his bathroom was in good repair nor was he seeking an overall impression of his "taste". Simply saying Jovan looks "ridiculous" is only intended to be hurtful. That we do not need.

Perhaps you are right about the first post, but he has proved himself to be an insolent baby in others.

It seems to me, if he was a successful male model like his myspace page says, that he would have been told before what kind of things work well on him. On the other hand, if he was so into modelling (again see myspace), he would have a better picture than his dingy bathroom shot.

I think that Jovan can be a baby, but it is pretty uncool what you are doing to him. Leave his other websites where they are.

I find life to be painfully short. It is not relevant to me whether Jovan is the greatest thing since spreadable cream cheese or an "insolent baby." The man asked a question -- a reasonable question on a forum devoted to style and fashion -- and the answer is either yes, no, or cannot tell. Anything else strikes me as unnecessary noise.

Also, I simply have neither the time nor the energy to track down his myspace page and care about whether he is really the male model he purportedly claims to be or to analyze why he shot his photo in a dingy bathroom. I am slightly appalled that you do and that you have focused so much energy on this issue.

Quite true.

scarmebb, regardless of how I feel about Jovan, your doggedness is not merely unseemly, but actually disturbing. Chill.

I claimed to a successful male model... when? It simply says my interests lie in modelling.
