H&K shirts?
I purchased two to resell on ebay. The fabric was very nice looking, and it felt great. Also, the quality points (long shirt tails, gusset on bottom hem, shell buttons, nice stitching, nice collar and cuffs). However, there is no way possible that I could ever wear them. I take a 17" neck, but have a 30-31" waist and a 36" chest, so the 17R shirt I bought was huge.

Good God - your chest is only twice as large as your neck?

Well I don't wear a 36 suit, I meant my actual chest measurment is 36". I take between a 38 and 40 suit, depending on the maker. It sure is hell finding a shirt that fits. Usually, when shopping for dress shirts to wear untucked, I get a 15/15.5 or 38/39 Euro and just wear the first few buttons undone.

I bought 15 during last sales in London and Paris for around 67 euros per shirt I had many problems with shirts from Paris shop: - different lenght of sleeves by random, 4 cm difference between the shorter and the longer. - 4 shirts with plastik buttons

Dug, Were these dress shirts or sport shirts that had the plastic buttons? I'm pretty sure that all H&K uses are shell buttons. The information card included with H&K shirts makes it seem as though they pride themselves in the use of real shell buttons.

My plastic button shirts are : 1) white popeline, classic collar, double cuffs 2) light blue, end of end, classic collar, double cuffs 3) blue, popeline, classic collar, double cuffs Do you think they are sport shirts? They are not made in Great Britain (nothing is written for the country) and H&K said me they have many countries where they produce their shirts. I have find a solution = a free shirt because of these 3 plastic button shirts instead of sending me shell ones and asking their shop in Paris to sew them. As I had to exchange one too short sleeves shirt with shell buttons I cut these shell button and sewed them on one of my plastic button by myself. So I have still 2 plastic shirts. I will take the rescue shell button on 14 shirts and sew them on these 2 shirt.

I just ordered some H&K shirts, several from Bromley's and several from H&K's online store during their sale. The shirts from Bromley's are labeled "Made in Great Britain," have shell buttons, the stripes line up, fabric is great, single-needle stiching, etc. Love them, some of the best shirts I have. In contrast, the sale shirts from H&K itself do not have a label indicating where they were made and, on one shirt, the stripes on one sleeve do not line up with the shoulder. Also, on that same shirt, there is excess fabric in the collar which is making it tough to iron without getting a crease. That said, there is still single-needle stiching, the fabric has a nice hand, and the buttons are thr real deal. I wonder if H&K's sale shirts are seconds or are from some lesser line? As an aside, the shirts from Bromleys were higher priced, but the customer service was far and away better than H&K's.

You just order during the sales? What sales? December? It seems next sales are for end of april. In case of problem, sales or not, ask them to change you the shirt as this is not normal to receive defective shirts. I seems H&K have defective shirts and do not control very well their products. May be these shirts are not from GB. I asked them where they do produce their shirts but I am still waiting for a reply. During sales you can find "made in GB" as well as made somewhere else. Even on their website, all shirts are not "made in GB" so I do not know if it means something. 1) Which shirts have you choosen? 2) Have you noticed different sleeves lenght? Measure from under the arm to cuff and you may find 0.5 inch missing on severlas shirts. 3) what is your experience with their client service?
