Oh I'm sure they would but calling someone you haven't talked to in 20 years and asking them to snake a drain for you would be a pretty azzhole move. It'll keep for another month🤷‍♂️
Tell a kid how to do it, under your supervision? 😈

roto rooter was here yesterday taking care of a ground drain ( the neighbor's ash tree is having a banner year and the winds have been unfavorable ) plus servicing the sewer clean out . i'm saving my back for other stuff too
I actually feel pretty good . It's more the frustration of what I'm not allowed to do at this point but after coming within days, maybe even hours, of ending up in a wheelchair with a colostomy bag for the rest of my life I'm obeying doctors orders to the letter.

Hopefully the last project I have to do in the old yard. Two junipers had broken branches after last week’s 20” of snow. I cleared those, along with taking out a small pine tree that fell over. My neighbor helped, and took this all to the yard waste center since he already had stuff in his trailer.

That’s like a lot of houses in my neighborhood, except here that wall abuts the sidewalk, and there’s no garage.

A bunch of quality listings just hit all at the same time in our neighborhood, so it will be interesting to see if the demand is still there to soak it all up. Early signs were encouraging as almost everything that listed out of season over the winter sold, most for around asking price. The NAR (boo! hiss!) has Atlanta projected as one of the hottest major city markets this year. Midtown continues to grow like crazy in (apartment) residential, retail and office space and we are the nearest abutting single-family zoned neighborhood, so I think the fundamentals are sound.
