Stripe on evening (tuxedo) trousers is crinkling/puffing

I took the trousers from my dinner suit to be hemmed and when they came back, the satin stripe is crinkled and slightly puffy (similar to the bubbling on a fused suit). I can't remember if it was like that before I brought it to the tailor, but I'm thinking maybe he pressed it when it shouldn't be pressed. I'm wondering if it can somehow be rectified. I have attached a photo for your viewing pleasure

Probably the tight hemming is the culprit.

probably has nothing to do with the hemming or anything the tailor did. Have it pressed and see how it turns out. Pressed by a tailor not a cleaner. It's kind of the nature of braid to do this, it may continue to ripple in this way. It's much worse when the braid is tight and the cloth on both sides of the braid is wrinkled.
