Regarding the 25-foot crocodile, how do you measure such an animal while it's still alive? Usually, 18 feet is regarded as about maximum for a Nile crocodile.
If the damn thing had killed 200 natives, why didn't somebody shoot "Gustave" already? He didn't seem especially wary, given how easily he was sighted and photographed.

I don't really know. The thing is massive, though. They say he was either shot by a poacher or moved off to a different area. You'd imagine after killing some people the villagers would have killed him. 200, that's pretty incredible. Shows what easy prey we are. They claim that he was 68 years old.
When I first read about the story, shortly after it happened, it was reported that the poor fool wasn't even wearing a "proper" Sasquatch costume, he was wearing a ghillie suit.
This Todd Standing guy supposedly does not have a sterling reputation.
That community seems to attract a lot of infighting. Who knows. Maybe he's a schemer. He was featured on the Finding Bigfoot shot.
