That's her apartment here Also getting together tomorrow, I believe.

Hmm, the rundown:
Marlowe White uniform
Vanguard medals
Finamore shirt
no name bow tie--bought one from Rubinacci, only to have it disappear before the ball, grumble grumble
Grenson boots

Tiger, you have officially outdone any prior examples of classic manly coolness on this forum. Those photos have a wonderful between-the-wars 20s Americans abroad feel to them.

Is it acceptable to wear shirts that are not components of a uniform?

I was under the impression that a dress uniform encompassed every element, from tie to shoes.
