It is a site for reviewing Tom's of Maine toothpaste. At least that used to be the focus before things went downhill.

It was started a couple years ago by two toothpaste reviewers, Poincare0 and Mt_Spiffy. But then they were ousted by LA Guy and J, who turned it into the Style forum that we know it as today.
