I wear mine to work when I'm in the field, as in construction sites, etc.

nice plain boot, you wear a boot around here with buckles and straps and your getting scorn and ridicule heaped upon thyself lol8[1].gif
 

I also have a set of Clark original desert boots and Ecco dress boots, oxford style

and a pair of Italian chukkas like in the OP, no burnished toe though
