Back seam on knit ties - protrudes and visible through the knot

This is a mildly annoying problem, and I wonder if others have noticed it: I have a few knit ties (decent ones, mostly Kent Wang), and all of them are folded and sewn in the back, resulting in a pretty chunky seam along the entire length of the tie. That's not a problem in itself, but once I tie it (typically four in hand, and never too tight), this seam protrudes through the knot, creating basically a ridge that runs through the middle of the knot. Not huge deal, but eh... So I wonder if people around simply ignore this, or if there is some trick to tying the knits that minimizes the issue. Thanks.

+1 I'm interested in this too. I have only encountered this issue with my Lanvin knitted ties, that I bought several years ago - Great quality but the central seam is quite annoying and can skew the knot too.

Do you mean grenadines? I didn't think knits normally have a seam at the back (what with them being...well...knitted).

I'm referring to knitted ties, as I say don't have this quirk on any of my knitted ties save Lanvin.

PRL knitted ties do this too. You can even see the seam through the front of the tie.
