For Sale:
FS Alden Indy Boot 9.5

Will Ship To: Anywhere

For sale: a pair of Alden Indy boots size 9.5. I wore them for a solid week (walking only, no hard or dirty labor), but decided they weren't my thing.

Always kept nice and clean in cloth Alden bags with cedar shoe trees.

The leather is fresh and supple. The color is more brownish than in the pictures (the average Indy boot color, not as red as depicted in these images).

Hardly any wear on the soles, moderate wear on the heels.

There is a small scratch near one of the toes. I have shot the pictures in a way that accentuates the scratch, so in real life it is not as noticeable (the closeup picture without the flash is a good representation of how it looks in real light). I've done a good job fixing the scratch with wax/polish, but you can still sort of see it.

Comes with the cloth Alden bags.

PM me if you'd like additional pictures/info

$300 plus 3% paypal - CONUS
I'd prefer to ship CONUS, but am open to discussing shipping overseas.

These appear to be on the Modified last, vs. the regular Trubalance last for Indys. Please confirm.

One week? Really?

Mine look better than that and I've put a solid year's wear on them...

Honestly, I'm really not sure. They were a gift and I am not familiar with the terminology of trubalance/modified (that's why I posted what I'm assuming is the serial number or whatever those numbers are on the inside of the shoe). I'll search around for the answer, but if anyone knows how to tell the difference please let me know.

these are in my size, but that seems like quite a bit of wear for only a week, especially the right heel which has significant wear. are you the original owner?

I'm the original owner. The heels have wear, but that seems to be a normal amount to me because I guess I walk... heavy? Plus, I walk a lot (no car). All of my shoes have wear like this. If I weren't so dumb I would of put on some heel taps.

They definitely look *different* than most Indy's I've seen.  I'd bet that they are the Modified last.  I have some Trubalance Indy's and through the middle they definitely do not get as narrow as it appears those do in the first pic.

Based on the model number, they appear to be on the Modified last. There is normally a significant premium on price when on the Modified last.

Good luck with your sale.
