That is the best idea
Include model height/weight if they are not shy

Even just listing his chest size would be a big step up, though.

Yeah, that was the idea - we are going to try this for women first and go from there. We will have improved sizing charts soon though.

This actually will happen.

I don't have any problems with the current model.  I'm happy that ya'll haven't gone the whole "starved and emaciated" route that seems to be so popular with high-fashion brands *dry heave*.  The current model certainly isn't overweight or fat.  He's not the fittest guy in the world, but then again, most Americans generally aren't "athletes".

It might be interesting to see what different people with different builds look like in the shirts, though, but I don't know what's involved with the logistics of something like that.  Truth told, for 15 dollars it's not *that* big of an investment to figure out what the shirts look like on you.  I'm glad I made that little leap.

Hey, guys at everlane, you don't have any positions available for a guy with no skills in the clothing industry, do ya?  I can whip up one hell of a cappuccino!

We currently have no positions available for company barrista, but I will lobby for it smile.gif

It's one of those things - do we use someone who looks like a real person, or do we use someone with a more ideal body shape? We decided that our current male customer base is more receptive to the former, but that could change in the future.

These sweatshirts are not super heavy, and we wanted to always offer anything we make in black. The cinnamon colorway was a little controversial in out office, but it sold through much faster than we expected.

thenanyu, can we get a way to filter by size? it's kind of annoying to have to click on every shirt to see whether or not your size is in stock. it'd be cool to be able to hide all the colors/styles that are out of stock/not your size.

We are completely redesigning the product pages with some usability improvements - they will be live end of next week I think.

I just got my second order from everlane with a sweater and a few more t-shirts.  They have great prompt service and the t-shirts are great.  The t-shirts from my first batch have held up to a number of washings without any shrinkage or wear.

The neck on the sweater is rather large and a little misshapen (it almost seems stretched out).  Did anyone else have this problem?  I'm hoping I can reform it after a wash.

Yeah I just got mine in today and have to say the large wide neck + raglan sleeves wasn't really working for me. Also this being my first order from Everlane I have to agree that there needs to be a taper in the shirts and I would like to see them lengthened by 2-3 inches if possible. I like the fabric on both items though and it is a good price point, just a few things I would like to see changed or offered as an alternative sometime down the line.

Agreed. With a bit more taper (and a more forgiving chest), I'd buy like 20.
