Everlane T-shirts - Page 204

Got the u neck tees today and agree with everyone else. For reference I'm 5'9 and the shirt just fit way too long.. kinda felt like I was wearing a dress. Fabric was nice though. Will probably try to exchange for a different shirt

Worth trying a size down based on the excess length, or will it just fit too tight in the chest and still billow out in the waist?
since your drop is pretty big, it'll still billow out a good bit.

Nah, shoulders and chest will definitely be way too tight on you.

tbh i feel ever lane tees vneck and crewneck are too long as well. I'm 5'10 and I wear a small and its already too long, don't see how they can recommend 5'10 as being the TALLEST recommended height for a small really.

Thanks, guess I'll pass. Hopefully they'll tweak the cut and relax the neckline a little more for the next batch. I also wish they'd do longer, slimmer sleeves, but that's probably a pipe dream. Seems like Silent and Odyn Vovk are the only brands that are into that.

Eh, I'm like 5'7 and I consider them short. Unless you're looking for a belly shirt or something.

Haven't ordered any tees since December, but the XS crewneck I bought then had a nice length (I'm 5'7.5"). Was noticably longer than the multiples tees I ordered during Everlane's first 4-5 months.

A couple shirts have floppy collars, the others have held their shape perfectly. I haven't noticed any pattern with it, so could be a random thing.

They'll shrink a good inch or so length-wise after a few trips through the dryer.

I'm on the train that these are billowy as hell on the waist.  I hope they come up with a version 2 and fix this.  The cotton is nice, though.

To the Everlane guy that posts in here I would say be careful with your rayon based fabrics. My french terry shirts and ryan tee are already starting to pill really bad. I got all the colors of the terry and they all started to pill after a wash or two, which sort of sucks after dropping $200. No dryer and ran on gentle in the wash. =/

Also would love a color that isn't blue or gray based. Reds and browns for fall please? Brighter colors for summer?

Hey, sorry to hear about your French Terry and Ryan, pilling is an issue that our production team is addressing head on. We've sourced new fabric and a new factory to address this for the relaunch in August. If the pilling is really bad I can send a replacement, just contact me over PM.

I'll pass along your comments about color to our head of design. I've pushed for more adventurous colors, but I also understand they have their reasons. We've been focused on fall/winter for a while now so there won't be any brighter summer colors.

i know this thread has moved on from what people want to see from everlane, but I would like to see them do a henley. short and long sleeved.

I would as well, but their tees are cut so short and boxy that I doubt I'd be into the fit.

I'm sure the fabric and buttons would be nice, though.
