I love my black at cost belt.  I'm amazed how often I end up choosing it over a fairly similar brooks brothers belt.  The narrow belts aren't bad, but I love the 1.25in width.

Large or Medium?

I'd say Medium. I'm 6'1, 200, 44 and 34 and the large t-shirt and french terry sweater fit pretty loose on me.

lol @ the at-cost belt.

you know they only sold it "at-cost" because they screwed up and they needed to clear the inventory

I recently tried to Oxiclean a stain out of one of my Grey Everlane Crewneck T-shirts (Real old, from when they were new) and the water turned a maroon/red. Does anyone know what the hell might cause this?

Not that it matters, just a curiosity. Maybe the shirt is dyed red before being dyed grey for some reason?

anyone have measurements for the french terry in size medium after wash and dry?
I bought a black terry 2-3 months ago and washed it a couple times. Here are the measurements:

p2p - 21
Front length - 24.5
Back length - 25.5
Raglan sleeves but they're about 17.5-18

Overall definitely fits on the looser side but that's what I like about it. I'm normally a slim medium.

Just curious, about how thick is the terry sweatshirt?

Is it about the same thickness as normal sweatshirts?

So, been awhile since the OCBD were released.

Thoughts?

Are they really as slim as they are made out to be hence having to size up 1? I am a slim medium but fit almost all shirts in small unless they are specifically slim fit i.e. Brooks Brother ESF etc,

They are pretty slim. I am 6 ft 160 and the medium fits decent. The top half is good. Nice high armholes and thin sleeves. The bottom block has this annoying flared bell shape. I got a tailor to get rid of it. The sleeve length is about 3/4 inch too long as well. All in all after tailoring I got a fairly nice fitting shirt. However at the price (55+15) I probably would have went another direction (uniqlo, Gitman bros during the my habit sales, or luxire)

I got a S, which is my usual size (5'10", 145, 36" chest) and it fits OK. Way too flared at the bottom which throws off the relative slimness at the top (chest/arms are good). Also the collar is a little big, but I tend to prefer a smaller collar when it comes to OCBDs

I'll echo what others have said. I'm pretty tall, so I like the added sleeve length. I've given both of mine a machine wash and dry before having a tailor take them in at the waist, which I expect to do with most shirts anyway.

They're not as nice as WvG shirts, but I'd take them over GBV, which manage to simultaneously fit snug in the chest and huge at the waist with short arms.

We are working on a men's 1.25 inch belt. It will be similar to the at-cost belts from last year - 1 piece leather construction, but we will be making the buckles interchangable to let people add a bit of variety.

The new French Terry has an adjusted fit - it's much slimmer than the old version, and we tightened up the neck opening.

Late Feb, Early March. We are rebuilding a lot of our fulfillment architecture and this is one of the improvements.

Small leather goods sound a good idea - for the record, I would not be mad if y'all made an oxblood chromexcel bifold...

We just got a ridiculously nice breast wallet sample foo.gif
Seriously though. We did. It's awesome - I would say, as good as Foo's. This is not a drill.

Grey is a combination of multiple colors all mixed together, could be the red pigments are more soluble.

They are about the same thickness, but denser than a normal sweater.

So the new, slimmer French Terry, is that on the site now or will be releasing later?
