Nope. Not at all, really. Works fine, I'm just not confident the straps will last long. Not going cross-country or anything.

Also how are the shirts short? You said you are a shorter person, what size are you wearing that could be short? I'm 5'10 168 wearing a small and have at least 2-3 inches below the top of my back pockets, perfect if I wanted to tuck them in.
Huh, I wear S too. I guess I like my T shirts longer than yours?

So here's the story about the French Terry sweatshirts.

We made a second run, in black, red, and navy. They sucked so we donated them and wrote down the loss. The issue was our fabric choice - it didn't match well with the way the pattern was cut so they ended up looking weird. Our next iteration will be for women only I think and use a much softer fabric.

Oh man!

Buttondowns

We have final samples coming in this or next week - production run lands in September.

- Made in LA
- oxford cloth, similar to Gant Rugger
- MoP buttons, chest pocket

Cashmere

This stuff is quite nice. We got samples in and all the employees are planning on stealing them.
- Thicker and nicer than Uniqlo, Jcrew and the usual stuff. You won't find anything else for this price/performance ratio
- Basic colors for the first run, navy, light gray, charcoal, etc
- V-neck, Crew and Cardigan, all under $100 of course

Nice backpack overall and the blue lining definitely doesn't look as bad as it did in the pic someone posted a few pages back. Laptop sleeve padding thankfully wasn't enough to make the pack rigid and boxy like I had feared it might. In the end though, I decided to return it. It seemed like a quality product but just wasn't quite what I was looking for. A couple things in particular that bothered me (but not necessarily what caused me to return it): straps seemed a bit small and the backpack just didn't sit right on me (I'm 5'11" 195 lbs, athletic build) and the white strap adjustments just looked really out of place. Small nitpick, no doubt, but the white kinda soured the overall look in my mind.
Getting a bit peeved that it's been a week since Everlane received my return (that I paid the shipping for) and still no refund or even a courtesy email letting me know they had received it...

Hey Flyswatter, sorry to hear that, you got PM

We are tightening it up now - if you guys ever have any issues with your tees, PM me and we can figure something out.

I recently ordered a white pocket tee and a peach v-neck tee.  According to the website, the peach v-neck tee was shipped out after the white pocket tee was shipped; however, I have had the peach v-neck in my posession for a couple of days now, while the white pocket tee is nowhere to be found... puzzled.gif

Yeah, that's on me - we are trying to get our data backend in order, which results in weird side effects on occasion.

Just wanted to chime in on the weekender. I have the olive w/ red stripe and initially was worried about the length of the handles. Recently went to Alaska with my girlfriend and took the weekender along w/ 2 travel bags and the long handles were awesome as i could just sling it on my shoulders or around the handle for our rolling luggage. Worked out great. Liking all my everlane stuff so far. Oh the weekender also fits into an overhead compartment perpendicularly (if that makes any sense). Helps a lot since nowadays on flights everyone carries luggage on and uses all the overhead space. The weekender takes up very little space in an airplanes overhead compartment unless it's a tiny plane.

^ Those buttondowns and the cashmere sound very interesting. Any ideas on the proportions? I mean, I have trouble getting things that fit me in the chest which aren't also too long in the arms or too big in the neck.

I have a feeling the batch of white V necks I got about two months ago was a different cut, I just double checked it against the half dozen other shirts and they are a little over an inch longer

tis a shame about the french terry sweaters, but the new cashmere stuff has me excited. The best thing is it sounds like it will coincide nicely with canadian shipping!!
