Yeah it makes sense that some items could be back ordered or something. I ordered the weekender on July 2nd and I just received it now.
The straps could be a bit thicker, but not so thin that I would want to return it. Can't wait to start using it

Yea that's what I originally did. Then when I decided to change the color they sent me the bag right away even though I am still waiting on the tees I ordered with it.

Will the weekenders be discounted/put on sale? I would pick one or two up at $50.

For people who ordered on that Sunday, the order backend wasn't set up properly so everything is shipping at once - if you want to have the items ship in batches, PM me your order number and I can release the available items right away. Otherwise, everything will ship around July 15th


The response to the weekender has been very positive overall, and we will probably sell out of 3 of the colorways (black on black is the slowest thus far).

That said, part of our brand philosophy is that we don't do discounts. We push our prices down as low as possible and our goal is to deliver a solid product. If the product doesn't deliver value at its set price, then we need to accept that as a failure in development and not try to just move it out the door.

The only exception to this is promotional stuff that we do where we sell stuff completely at cost. We did this with men's belts a couple of months ago, but we made the item specifically for that promotion and it wasn't ever offered at markup.

Here's a positive review: I received my weekender a week ago, and I recently used it on a weekend trip. The size was perfect for the bag's purpose, and I like the sturdiness of the bottom.

I actually really liked the long length of the straps - I didn't feel awkward carrying it normally (I'm 6'), but I really loved slinging it over my shoulder and carrying it that way. The only problem is that the straps do feel a bit flimsy... something that should be addressed in future runs IMO.

I had bought my fiancé a watercolor peach crew and she finally got around to wearing it yesterday. She loved it. I will be getting her a Ryan T and tank to give a shot for work and a few more crew necks when the back packs drop.

got my weekender a few weeks back...used it for a day at the park...packed a towel..some water...change of clothes...ipad..etc...threw it on the grass and sand...worked fine for me..

Any update on this? I can't way to get my hands on one

Got a new zip backpack. Everything seems to be of higher quality than the previous run. Great backpack for normal everyday use!

How did you get it so soon?

I was just looking for a way to stock up on some basic tee's. Good timing on seeing this . 

 

im also considering getting a belt and dunno whether to go for small or medium. are you a 30" in pant size or actual waist size? my waist is 31" and i wear anywhere between 28-30 pants.

We went by pant size, and some of the leather we use (the grain especially) is a little pliable so that might explain it. We take returns no problem, but the design of the belt makes it so you can be on the last hole and still cover it up with the other end of the strap.

I would say, get a medium. if your wait where you want to wear the belt is actually 31, we measured the belt out at the lengths marked. If my sizing recommendation doesn't work out, just PM me and I will make sure you get a smooth exchange.
