The straps could be a bit thicker, but not so thin that I would want to return it. Can't wait to start using it

Also Nan, you should put in a link to cancel an order. I had placed an order when you first gave us the weekender link and like a little over a week later I decided to change color on the weekender as it hadn't shipped yet. I emailed Chris at customer service (he was great) and he told me he couldn't cancel it but I could cancel and re-place the order since it didn't ship yet. I didn't see a button on the orders page to cancel the order so I emailed him back and he canceled it.
As for my weekender review:
The length of the leather straps is just awkward. I'm 6'1" and it just looks weird when I hold it in my hand. The bag hovers too close to the ground. Also not a fan of hanging it on my shoulder.
The material on the bag is also too thin imo. It looks like the same material (and thickness) as the backpack. Since the weekender is much bigger I feel it is too flimsy. If the material were thicker it would be much better. I like the snap backpack I have but not so much the weekender.

Thanks for the feedback, sorry the bag didn't work out for you. The product guys are taking all the styleforum comments to heart and planning changes to future bags that we are producing.
We just got a shipment of Liberty fabric ties in, so those will be going up soon.

For people who ordered on that Sunday, the order backend wasn't set up properly so everything is shipping at once - if you want to have the items ship in batches, PM me your order number and I can release the available items right away. Otherwise, everything will ship around July 15th

The response to the weekender has been very positive overall, and we will probably sell out of 3 of the colorways (black on black is the slowest thus far).
That said, part of our brand philosophy is that we don't do discounts. We push our prices down as low as possible and our goal is to deliver a solid product. If the product doesn't deliver value at its set price, then we need to accept that as a failure in development and not try to just move it out the door.
The only exception to this is promotional stuff that we do where we sell stuff completely at cost. We did this with men's belts a couple of months ago, but we made the item specifically for that promotion and it wasn't ever offered at markup.

Here's a positive review: I received my weekender a week ago, and I recently used it on a weekend trip. The size was perfect for the bag's purpose, and I like the sturdiness of the bottom.
I actually really liked the long length of the straps - I didn't feel awkward carrying it normally (I'm 6'), but I really loved slinging it over my shoulder and carrying it that way. The only problem is that the straps do feel a bit flimsy... something that should be addressed in future runs IMO.

Anybody else see a sizing issue with their belts? I'm a 30" waist - which puts me at a medium - listed at 29-33", and I fall on the last hole. I should have gone with a small (24-28"). I think it is a pretty nice belt design for the price. Hopefully I can return it. If anything I'm used to sizing up on belts, not down.

im also considering getting a belt and dunno whether to go for small or medium. are you a 30" in pant size or actual waist size? my waist is 31" and i wear anywhere between 28-30 pants.

It really depends on where people wear their pants to measure waist, but I'll say this: I'm exactly a size 30 in Epaulet, I always size up to 32" to hit that 3rd eyehole on belts, I size down to 29 or maybe 28 in raw denim. Right now I'm actually rocking a size 30 in the Momo X NF and they haven't stretched to not fit. If anything I'm closer to a 31" waist.
I don't like my stuff baggy - I'm between a 29-30 in Wings + Horns, 30 Unis Gio Skinny. Hope that helps. I don't think their belt sizing is quite on point.

We went by pant size, and some of the leather we use (the grain especially) is a little pliable so that might explain it. We take returns no problem, but the design of the belt makes it so you can be on the last hole and still cover it up with the other end of the strap.

I would say, get a medium. if your wait where you want to wear the belt is actually 31, we measured the belt out at the lengths marked. If my sizing recommendation doesn't work out, just PM me and I will make sure you get a smooth exchange.
