Waaaaaah how dare a company raise prices in an effort to be profitable. I , the consumer, am outraged that everlane would increase their cheap prices to a level that is still affordable while continuing to offer great quality for the money.

This is a really stupid thing that everyone tries to use to justify prices rising. The whole point of everlane is that it's supposed to be much better than other designer "prices". If they keep on jacking up their prices, they've strayed from their main goal. They can raise prices- nothing we can do about it, but it might not work out if the prices are too high.

As much as it pains me to write this I have to agree. There is a big difference between a $50 bag and a $65(mentally almost $70) bag. unless their manufacturing or shipping costs went up drastically I dont think it's a smart move. Regarding the weekender, I bought one, haven't received yet but I'm already having buyers remorese. $95 is too much for a canvas bag with crappy leather handles. My wife has the tote bag and while she likes it her complaint is with the leather straps. They are not great quality and she gets brown residue on her shirts after using the bag. It appears the weekender has the same straps but maybe I'm wrong.

I love (shirts especially) Everlane and think the concept is great but they need to stay the course with pricing.

the made in china part killed it for me, uhoh.gif

Is there a shipping delay with the shirts? Placed an order last Sunday at midnight (shirts only) and they still have not shipped.

So I got my V-Neck yesterday (along with the Weekender), but the shirt (size S) seems too long. Anyone else have this problem? I'm 155 5"9.5

I'm glad everyone here is an economist and has had the chance to thoroughly review Everlane's financial records. Seriously, if you think it's a good value, buy it. If you think it's a bad value, don't buy it. No reason to speculate about their pricing on an internet forum.

I wish I had a problem with shirts being too long... always too short for me. If the length has been adjusted, I'd love to hear about it.

Eh, made is China isnt the end of the world for me. Some items MIC far inferior to the US but some factoris are decent. Its not as bad as it used to be. Id say Made in India is even worse.

My office used to be in the garment district in NYC in one of the few buildings that still manufactures clothing. Guess who makes the clothing, Chinese immigrants. Not a big difference btw MIC and USA these days.

Just received my weekender, and my friend immediately remarked that it looked like an expensive bag. Must be awesome to work for a company that produces such great, quality products!

mines didnt...but i haven't really gotten it wet or sweated...and i used it for 15 min..

 

but anyone else let me know..if it bleeds...well we can kill it..
