So I'm in Florence, Italy for a semester and would like to get some leather shoes and a leather jacket as I hear you can get good quality products for a decent price here. I'm kind of skeptical of buying the more expensive stuff from the merchant stalls in the market (despite the price, which is very good once you talk them down), so I'd like to hear of some other places to buy. Has anyone spent a lot of time in Florence and know of places besides the open air markets to buy some good leather shoes, jackets, and maybe a wallet? Or, has anyone had good experience with the street vendors? I'm a college student so I'd prefer to keep it relatively inexpensive. And I do speak Italian if that matters at all. Thanks
