Stupid political crap your friends post on facebook. - Page 318

Facebook is a great place to maintain dozens of shallow, arm's-length relationships with people you would otherwise just lose contact with entirely. It's nice to know when someone you went to high school with has a baby or moves to a new town. It's pretty easy to filter out the political garbage. Once you get yourself established it just takes a few minutes to check on the people you (barely) care about.

If a company has a FB page but no website, I tend to avoid them. I don't know why: perhaps because it isn't that hard to create a website.
Than you are missing some great deals for good things.

Why don't you just hide posts from annoying people? My facebook feed is pretty tranquil

If I hid the feeds of obnoxious people, I wouldn't have a feed left.

I don't quite know the exact percentage but at least 15% of my divorce cases are directly caused by actions on social media (facebook, twitter, instagram, etc.)

I'm always amazed by people in their 50-60s getting divorced because they found their old high school crush. lolwut. I barely remember anybody from high school and I'm in my 30s.

If I were to get divorced in my 50s or 60s, it would have to be to a crush currently in high school. (Over the given jurisdiction's age of consent, of course.)

I haven't used Facebook since 11th grade. So vapid and shallow.

When I was in 11th grade, we didn't have FB.  Are you like 23?
