You do realize the "exact same thing" would be me using Rand as you are?

Are your barrage of anti-liberal posts not ringing any bells?

And by "say something right" you mean something you have already determined is the infallible truth of JA. You have demonstrated exactly zero willingness to examine your views and concede you might possibly not hold the entire and immutable truth.

As to anti-liberal posts, if you did not engage is complete selective reading, you'd realize I'm equally quick to criticize the right.

Again, you have no idea what my views are except they do not 100% match yours, which of course, makes me the enemy and wrong.

LOL. I don't count intelligent people who can argue intelligently as my enemy--regardless of whether I agree with them or not. As long as I feel like I am talking to a grownup whose mind can be changed given the right amount of evidence. Funny, kind of what you're expecting. I've just spoken to someone on Facebook, actually, the pros and cons of tactical voting. We didn't agree in the end, but he's still a good friend. You just seem to laugh at my (I thought) at least reasonably argued points. Therein lies the difference.

In a roundabout way, you're projecting onto me your belief that I can't change my mind. I have changed my mind many times over the course of my lifetime. I think the problem is: You have said some things which are flat out wrong (about socialism, etc.) which I have tried to counter, you have refused to back down, I have refused to back down, and now we are at name-calling. That is fine by me, because I know there are a certain number of people who can't debate intelligently (probably including myself).

I wonder what Marxist echo chamber JapanAlex likes to visit?

Then why don't you when your views are challenged? At least reconsider them?

Also, socialism is an economic system, with many variants.

Japan is a wise man guys. If male nurses from Britain ran the government and economy and decided what we could and could not own (guns) the world wouldnt just be a better place...it'd be a moral place.nod[1].gif

That's not my vision of a left-wing utopia.

Oddly they left out things like Social Security and Medicare. It looks a lot different than the one on Wikipedia or from the official government budget:

Excellent charting. Anyone who's looked into this knows SS and Medicare/aid eat up half the pie. I believe these cant even be voted on anymore as locked-in -entitlements-.
We're not supposed to call entitlements "entitlements" anymore.

Convincing people to kill people in the name of God vs. refusing to sign a government document in the name of God. Not really different.

Well that changes everything. Now what are we going to do with all that extra money

Star Wars space missile shield program.

Obv.

It is our only true line of defense against rogue nations / the axis of evil.
