I never heard that. I must say though, in the 1990's, the South was certainly triumphant, politically speaking.

I was born and raised in the South and never once thought "we" won anything. Never heard that train of thought from anyone I associated with either.

This line of thinking comes from how dominant Southern political principles (anti-collectivism, anti-union) have been in modern American, particularly since the Reagan era. It is also demonstrated by the movement of people from the Northeast and Midwest into the South, looking for jobs and a better life.

(Harvey isn't around is he? eh.gif )

People moving South is actually diluting conservatives votes in the South.

This was a fat trailer trash chic that moved to Detroit in the early 90s. The even funnier thing is she moved there with her black boyfriend. I cannot remember which state she was from but it was not Florida. I want to say it was Mississippi but just too many years ago.

We all know rats are higher on the food chain because they're on land. Think about it. How can a shark eat a rat? Rats just need to wait for sharks to beach themselves.

The other day some lady was on Hannity talking about a self defense course she took and how the AR-15 is getting a bad rep as a killing implement, and it's really a rifle that's incredibly good for defending yourself. Yeah, it does make a great defense weapon, because of the fact that it's a great weapon to kill someone with. Other than obvious factors like reliability and weight, there is no other characteristic by which a rifle like an AR-15 can be defined. It's ability to kill someone as quickly and efficiently as possible is what defines its greatness. I really wish gun advocates would stop being such pussies when it comes to telling it like it is.
