My FB feed has been surprisingly magnanimous. Lots of "I voted" photo stickers posted but not too much outright stupidity. Then again, I've also long since blocked or deleted people who routinely post stupid things, so maybe I'm just not seeing it.

Okay so now we know:

Believing that post hoc cryptography from a specific version of a 6000 year old text, that relies on the alignment of two different transcription systems, as well as the electoral college, and amount of US presidents is a useful form of prescience? Reasonable

Voting for someone who has different politics than eddie vedder? Not reasonable.

Excellent.

How is that "interesting" or even remotely comparable?

Also nice work accusing someone else of "snark" when you're equating voting for Obama with numerology. Good work there.

because you drink the koolaid not because your voting for obama, i pointed out something interesting and you responded to my post by wishing bodily harm on those that believe it. I was simply pointing the absurdity of both

I find the human mind's ability to find patterns in ANYTHING interesting.

Not relevant to politics, but interesting nonetheless.

I do as well. I recommend Douglas Hofstadter's I Am a Strange Loop and Gödel, Escher, Bach. I really enjoyed them.
