Which leather conditioner: Frye? Bick 4? Allen Edmond? Other?

So I have a pair of boots that have some small creases I fear will turn into small cracks. I want to get something that will moisturize and save them. My question is what product should I use? I've heard good things from the Frye leather conditioning cream as well as Bick 4 and even allen edmond products. Would any of these work well? Any thing else I should look into?

What type of boots are you referring too? You'll probably want to use a different conditioner depending on the type of boot or leather, i.e. dress boots vs work boots.

My stand-by has always been Obenauf's. However, depending on the leather and it's condition, there is a point of no return.

Have you tried Leather Honey?  I recently ordered a bottle on Amazon because it has a ton of five-star reviews and people were raving over it.  It really worked to condition my Frye boots and my husband tried it on an old leather briefcase that was cracking and the cracks are now invisible.  It takes a bit of time to soak in, but when it does the results are amazing!  I did read that you can't use it on suede (I think most leather conditioners aren't good for suede) so if your boots are suede I'd find something else, otherwise this is the best leather conditioner I've found.

Bick4 - never heard of it
Frye - never heard of their conditioner
AE - good, non-darkening (most people use AE conditioner-cleaner)
Obenauf - many swear by it
Lexol - good, but can darken light leathers
Saphir - good but expensive
