Actually it was kind of worse than that. It was

My stepdad was the beneficiary of a life insurance policy and then he transferred the money into my bank account. (reasons unexplained) now he wants half of it back. do i have to give it to him?

Hi guys,

I have no problem with what has been said because I'd assume the same thing with the lack of details I gave in the original post but I want to say it's a lot more complicated than what it seems. I didn't create this thread to justify my actions, it was about the law and whether or not he could take that money now that it is in my possession.

Thanks for the chuckles, though. Some of the comments were really amusing. nod[1].gif
