Foo, stay off the black diamond runs and you should be OK.

yeah me too. and i think i can honestly say that i never once worried about my gloves picking up a hint of color in my jacket. but maybe that's my shortcoming.

Foo will be wearing fingerless gloves, though.

When you think you're going to suck at doing something, you might as well have fun dressing up for it.

Tahoe snow is the worst on earth. Sierra cement. Those promo pics of people doing figure 8s in champagne powder are a joke. That happens like once a decade and it's over within two hours of the snowfall.

Colo and Utah kick ass by comparison.

Too much talk about actual skiing in this thread. Tone it down.

So where are you staying in Vail? Need help with restaurants or bars?

I think all that stuff has been taken care of by others.

Have you chosen your catch phrase yet for going down the slopes? It's essential.

"Cowabungaaaa!" and "Yeeeehaaaa!" are already taken (JLibourel...he took several of the first words that Adam did not create.)

How about, "Ddddddiiiiiiivvvvvooootttttsssssssss!" or maybe, "Pardon me...sorry about that..."

?
