You've got the percentages wrong.

Not happy with either of the gloves I ordered. Refuse to pay more than $60.

Saw those. Too expensive.

^ Those have covered fingers. That is the same problem with the first two ski gloves that he bought.

Hestra makes some of the best gloves around, though. Mine are goatskin. These are cowhide, I believe.

Yeah--the prices would suggest so!

Maybe I'll find a pair I like once I get to Vail.

Any way you can get this stenciled on the back of your jacket?

Looking forward to the WAYRN Rocky Mountain submissions

Late to the party but I'll +1 the helmet.

I've skiied in a helmet ever since I raced slalom in high school and I love it. Ski helmets tend to be comfy and do a really good job at regulating temperature. Modern ones have vents that open and close and things like removable earpads for warm days...but even the not fancy one I have from when I raced is sweet. Perfect from cold winter to melting snow spring skiing, add a thin hat for 0F days.

I've gone on a few day/weekend ski trips where I was renting gear (which until last year lived at my parents house since I usually skied with dad) and I always found myself missing the helmet.

Not for less than $60. Stop in Denver or Summit County (Dillon) on the way up if you don't want to get ass raped.

Or get these.

Black Diamond. Goretex. Warm. Not Yellow. As low as $35 (with discount code).
