Just picked up a pair of Slight's from Les Etoffes in MTL. I couldn't be happier. We've had a pretty humid summer to date and I've been trying to jump of the heavy weight stuff for a while now. Initially I went in there hoping to buy the W+H straight raws but was pleasantly surprised when Diana suggested these instead. I'm interested to see how they hold up to consistent wear.

EDIT: I didn't think they would shrink with a wash. I guess I'll be looking to find a new home for these. Seriously, best jeans you can get for $80 shipped. Get at me.

Measurements for all the cuts would be appreciated. Especially for us who have large thighs. And when will the fall/winter12 denim be hitting stores? Those navy selvedge jeans are the shit!!

Navy denim at Roden Gray: http://rodengray.com/shop/Narrow-Tonal-Stitch-Denim-UNM0334-men.html?variantid=10752&designer=true

We have it at Sydney's too, but somehow missed it when shooting our FW12 stock for the website. I'll try to get it posted soon, but worst case you can just email the store because we do have stock.

FW12 deliveries are hitting stores right now. Sydney's, Uncle Otis, Roden Gray, and Need Supply all received stock last week.

We're also excited to bring on another couple of kick ass SF affiliates for SS13!

And I'll try to find the time later this week to put together a sizing chart for the slight and narrow fits in all sizes for everyone.

Also, this is probably the nicest piece from any of our collections so far: http://shopsydneys.com/all-designers/united-stock-dry-goods/united-stock-dry-goods-plaid-shirt-navy-red.html

I grabbed one as soon as we got stock. So did a few others. The fabric is insanely nice and comfortable (a little warm for right now, but will be perfect in the fall).

Sydney is retiring his pair of 14 oz deep indigo jeans to start working on a new navy pair after a year of almost daily wear ([probably about 200-250 days, he figures) and no washes. I took some quick photos today:

I'll see if I can get some more close-ups in better lighting soon.

Picked up a pair of those 14oz deep indigos sydney retired above at the store last week. The only 'Narrow' fit that was part of the $99 clearout sale of last seasons stock. Beautiful denim. Love the colour on these. Originally came in for the black 9oz'ers but didnt realize they were the baggier 'Classic' fit. So glad Sydney was there to show me that pair and how they'd aged.

Having them hemmed now and getting them back tomorrow. Glad to have a new pair to work on for the fall. Recently lost some weight so the Rogue Territory RK-ISC's and Dark Stantons (similar to the new United Stock navy's linked above) I'd been working on and loving are now sitting sad hanging in my closet.

Glad to have finally made it into Sydney's queen st shop. Wish I'd had more time to look around and try stuff on, but I'll definitely be back.

Even at the $170 retail price, there is little raw selvedge denim with finished inseam stitching of that quality even touching that price range, let alone at a $99 sale price. Unreal.

Thanks for the kind words!

The dark indigo denim is on sale because it's a discontinued style. We bought a lot of the denim for SS12 so we still have quite a few pairs, but the mill isn't producing it any more. And the classic fit was discontinued altogether.

All FW12 denims (12.5 oz indigo, 14 oz navy, 14 oz grey, 9 oz grey chambray, and 9 oz black) are available in both the slight and narrow fits.

The 9oz black jeans are the best.

Are any of those available in the classic cut?

The classic fit was discontinued, but some stores will still have some stock: http://shopsydneys.com/all-designers/united-stock-dry-goods.html
