We're expecting all of our denim to be shipping within two weeks. The light fade ones will retail for $195. I'll be grabbing a pair right away -- they're the perfect summer jean.

New size finally showed up. Much much better fit than my 31s, these are 29s and my true waist is 33...., could barely get the top button done but sucked it up and after an hour they feel nice......I don't know if I am color blind a bit or if these are even indigo with tonal stitch or black????? The stitch is blue for sure but I keep looking down and seeing black, ....if that's the case how do they fade ? Does white show through ?

It must be your legs, because my waist measures 33" too and I wear a size 31.

They're a dark indigo denim with tonal stitching...no black anywhere. They fade beautifully -- lots of white and lighter blue. I'll try to take some photos of my ~10 month old pair soon.

In the meantime, here's a photo of an old sample pair (same denim, different details (width of coin pocket, button colour)):

I'm really happy with my blacks.

Anybody have any experience/pics with the grays and how they fade?

Just a head's-up that our denim, chinos, chore jackets, and hooded jackets arrived at our warehouse at the end of last week, so deliveries should be arriving in stores in the next 1-2 weeks tops. SF affiliates Blue Owl, Need Supply, Four Horsemen, Roden Gray, Uncle Otis, and Sydney's will all have a great selection.

My search skills seem to be failing me - are United jeans sanforized? I'm guessing yes, but would like to be sure so I can decide whether to keep or return the pair I just picked up.

Yes, all of our denim is sanforized.

Cool, thanks Gavin. The size 30 Narrow fit I just picked up measure 16" exactly across the waist band. Does that sound about right?

Question about the black jeans, does the smell ever go away? I just accidentally threw mine in the washer and there is still that weird smell to them. I might've also ruined them by throwing in the washer since now they got some weird creases on them

The creases should ease out with wear.

And the smell of the black denim should also fade pretty quickly. I'll be honest, I don't notice it on mine.

Hey Gavin, tell me about the chinos. Pricepoint, size chart, country of manufacture?
