Need Dress Pant Help!!

I have recently been having problems finding dress pants in my size. I am a 30x32. I don't have the money to spend $200 dollars on each pant, but i am also tired of buying $40-$50 pants over and over, i just bought several pants and after a few wears i am getting thread unraveling, and my pants are looking dull. I dry clean after about three-four wears depending on how soiled i think they are. I work indoor and outdoor, and at the end of my day i find my waistband moist on my pants when i hang them. Guys i need help!

I don't see why you'd have any trouble finding that size, it's not exactly uncommon. Most decent dress trousers come unfinished anyway and you have them hemmed to the correct length, because a fixed length is never going to be perfect for anyone, and of course a 30 waist is hardly unusual.

I'd suggest Howard Yount or Panta but they're closer to the $200 mark. If you look for them during their sales or look for Incotex/Mabitex/etc on B&S though you can find some good deals.

Maybe some Brooks Brothers on sale?

If you are having problems getting a certain size, get a quality pair of pants and get them tailored to fit you perfectly. Tailoring is very inexpensive and if you splurge on your pants a little they will last you a lot longer and you'll have the fit you want.

i'm actually interested in a similar question. the basics (hickey and rl mostly) don't hold up well. i have a habit of putting my hands in my pockets and that stitching often gives out.

I'm a pretty standard 30x32 and have no problem with fit. is Panta/Yount the answer or a hk tailor? getting dress pants, which are for work and need to be conservative anyway, seems like overkill, but hey if its the same price or better quality i'd consider it.
