Style quote origin?

I just saw a quote - "It should take ten minutes to realise a man is well dressed".

I am not sure if that is the correct phrase but does anyone know where it comes from?

I'm not sure that is true. It would take more like 10 seconds.

+1. The only thing I could see taking 10 minutes is undressing a man. Which begins an entirely different conversation...

Don't know the phrase but I quite like it. Reminds me of the quote from Beau Brummel "If people turn to look at you on the street, you are not well dressed."

I suspect both may be of relevance to F Corbera's thesis in his coherent combinations thread.
