Help me pair this sportcoat

What would you wear this sportcoat with? (And "un-pairable" is an acceptable answer.)

It is certainly pairable. I would probably wear that more casually (lighter colored chinos, even denim). Only negative on that Caruso is that it is solid colored, I always prefer my jackets with a pattern of some kind. However, that is a good price on a quality item, if it is your size, snag it if you feel it could work with you.

That looks nice, I think I might buy it. No, not really, but I wouldn't be surprised if someone bought it after seeing this thread. I prefer a roped shoulder, but other than that, it looks very nice.

Thanks. I too was thinking dark denim would work. It was such a good price, and the Caruso's I've gotten on Yoox have always ended up better than the pictures (and this looked pretty good even in the pictures).

I actually got it for $162 after the 10% off code. I've made out like a bandit on Caruso over the last month on Yoox, so hopefully this one will work out. I've really liked the cuts of all the Carusos I've gotten on Yoox -- the soft shoulder suits me very well.

chinos, white shirt with darker stripe/pattern, say navy check, dark brown shoes, maybe suede, with dark brown belt

the chinos have to be as trim as the jacket

As shown looks fine. You could match quite a few pastel colours in pants with this jacket. Denim would be my last choice.
