I am a novice suit-shopper. I need a suit for a career showcase event at my uni.
This is a Hilfiger slim-fit suit. 41 reg. I was measured at a different store as a 39/40. But I hear that Hilfiger runs small.
My concern is that the jacket is too wide in the shoulders. I can't tell if the pad hits first when leaning against a wall, so I come here to ask the experts. Also, the button comes three inches off my stomach when stretched.
Sorry I didn't try on with proper dress shirt, but what do you all think?
PS: I have a rather deep but narrow chest compared to hips, so finding a good fitting suit seems difficult.
