During a recent trip over to London I picked up a pair of well-fitting Crockett & Jones Merton loafers (348 last) in size 9.5E UK. I usually wear a size 10.5D in US sizing and I understand UK sizes are typically one full size down from US sizes.
Now I'm in the market for a pair of boots from Crockett & Jones, and their Chelsea version in the 238 last has caught my eye. Would it be recommended to order the 238 Chelseas in 9.5E, the same size I wear in the 348 Merton, or go with a half size larger/smaller?
I appreciate any help here - paying for overseas shipping can be expensive if the right size isn't ordered!
