Tailored Polo T-Shirts

Hey guys,

 

I really like to wear Polo tee's but I have trouble finding ones that fit me correctly. I currently have 4 Fred Perry's which I do like and are very comfortable but still do not fit. The main problems are length and the fact that they 'billow' at the back. To me it seems like there is too much material at the back and most of them are not long enough for my liking(I'm 6ft 1').

 

Can anyone suggest somewhere I can get any that don't have these problems? If they're a reasonable price that would be great too(max of £50/$80).

You could give band of outsiders polo a shot

Else u could do a MTM polo with Kent Wang

Thanks for the suggestions guys I'll check them out later, do you know if they would solve the problems I'm currently having or is that part of the design and I should just get on with it?

Not sure how Fred Perry's fit. Sunspels are great though, a little longer and would fit you nicely. Great construction and material. If I were on the market for polos, I would only either buy Sunspel or try out Kent Wang.

Most polos are cut with a straight body. Take a measuring tape and lay your shirt flat. Measure from armpit to armpit, then from hem to hem. Very likely they are the same measurement.

You can have polos tapered. In fact, I have a few polos coming from Kent Wang that I asked to be slightly tapered. His is a made-to-measure service, after all.
