Depends what ladies you are seeking to please

Most women at your age will be impress by rolex/omega

None of them are around $1000 except some second hand omega, very rare

Don't buy those tourbillon because they won't last long

The majority of girls you will meet will only in Cali will only recognize a rolex submariner in gold. something like this:
http://www.ablogtoread.com/wp-conte...iner-116613lb-97203-gold-steel-blue-dial1.jpg

The problem is if you are having trouble purchasing a rolex, people will just assume it's a fake.

Also why do you want to impress them with an expensive watch? You'll only attract people who want money, and also if your car or home is bottom tier they'll quickly realize you don't have $$

Honestly if you want to meet girls thinking any watch is going to get their attention it's not going to work in the real world. People meet women everyday without watches.

Why not just get a watch that you like rather than one to impress the ladies. There's a difference between a well made timepiece, and the latest schlock some girl finds impressive.

check the watch p0rn thread for ideas

You think that the reason you aren't pulling chicks is because of the watch you are wearing? I can guarantee you that the watch isn't the problem

I know, I know - style over fashion, but most care only for the latter, esp. women. Fact is, watches (though stylish), are outdated and have been replaced by the common cell phone. Get an iPhone or somelike. :) :p

Ok thanks everybody for the quality posts, I just wanted a watch cause I was kinda feeling a missing link in my puzzle. I most likely will just go with NO watch.. for the short term

It's probably not the watch per se that will impress the ladies but rather the message that it conveys.

I know what you mean by "the missing link". Girls pay attention to details, i.e. your shoes, cufflinks, watch etc. as well as the whole package. The watch completes that package.

I'll probably get crucified for saying this but you might want to look at getting a Tag Heuer since it's one of the most recognised brands out there by the mass market.

yeah, no.

I'm really doubting a 23 year old girl at the bar is going to be paying attention to shoes, cufflinks, or watches. They will most likely be so sloppy that they would take the first guy in square toes and an ed hardy t-shirt (trust me, I've seen it).

Nobody, and I repeat, nobody, gives an absolute **** about my two rolexes or the JLC. In fact, the most compliments I've received on a watch was a Citizen Calibre 41 something or other.

Women of any age absolutely do not care what brand your watch is.
