Sounds about right to me. Quality cashmere is around 300.00 per kilo. That sweater is close to a kilo. Intarsia is very costly and time consuming. That sweater is made by hand on a flat and knitwear is based on time. Not to mention the zipper. Same with the gloves.
Your so use to looking at cheap ass shit from j.crew , Zara , and uniqlo. Those monster chains buy millions of kilos of cashmere that are poorly treated and processed. Then knitted with a very basic stitch. A uniqlo or j.crew sweater weighs 100 grams less than a quality brand plus the wash process is skimped and that's just a basic.
The majority of the sheople don't look for quality that just consume and buy cheap shit.
That sweater on sale is a good deal.
