Hi all,

I have been searching all the wallet threads, but have not found the answers/advice I was seeking, so I was hoping that this thread might help. As the title implies, I have several wallet questions that I need assistance with.

My primary day-to-day wallet is a bi-fold that has served me well for the past 5 years (a very durable Jack Spade), however I may be moving to the UK in several months, and would need a new wallet to accommodate the size of GBP and Euro denominations.

I thought I may try something new, and I have looked at several CDG wallets, specifically the full zip coin pouch varieties (such as: http://www.parkandbond.com/product/85691163)

Are these wallets as bulky as they appear? I have not found posts related to the quality/durability of these wallets- any info?
And how practical is a coin pouch in the UK day-to-day (I imagine a coin pouch being more useful in the UK as there are no £1 notes thus increasing coinage from change/small purchases- but perhaps I am simply overthinking that)

I am concurrently looking for a nice card case, and have found two that have caught my eye, but they too come with questions:

So far it is between a Smythson and a Mulberry

• The Smythson is very nice, however has anyone had experience ordering from their website? It is listed at £115 on the UK site, but on the US site it is $200, which is a much higher rate- Am I missing something? Should I use a web proxy to purchase on the UK site, and then they deduct VAT etc.?

• I especially like the snap closure on the Mulberry, but other threads have stated some of the leather used in their bags are questionable or manufactured in Turkey. There is no origin info on the site- does anyone know definitively about the wallets?

If there are any other suggestions that are like the two examples above, it would be appreciated (i.e., not a “flat” traditional card holder like this, and one that’s not a Launer or Valextra)

Thanks in advance!
