NVM, worth asking. If you do find them though, solid colors (Pinks, Whites, Blues) give me a holler. I am well stocked on patterns, but anything cool looking.....

Absolutely. Like i said i only buy TF now because it works perfectly for me with no alterations. Maybe a Dart on one or two of them but most fit perfectly. But Kiton OTR is in a diff league and that is a painfull thing to admit considering im a TF fanboy lol .

Kiton have great collars, fabrics, and buttons. Most, if not all the shirt is handmade. But fit wise, I would like to see them take a hint or two from the fashion brands.

Are Van Heusen and Geoffrey Beene Sateen shirts so far below the radars of anyone here as to receive no votes at all in this category?

Basically, yes. Those are at the absolute bottom in terms of quality. Many people around here, including myself, would recommend going with Charles Tyrwhitt if you need something that is relatively cheap but still good.

here is

I most CERTAINLY trust your TF experience. Curse you for casting that receipt upon my eyes, it shall never be forgotten...
Most certainly. I think its cute how he thinks I give a ****. Must make him feel empowered to name drop me every chance he gets. Watch, he will do it again in a bit. Teeee heeeeeee.
There is no point in spending too much time with a parasite like spoo.

Surely he has a following from poor souls who think he is giving them great deals but that cant be helped. There are fools everywhere.

I despise what spoo represents, but wont go in any further details since from experience he will be going back to the moderators to ban me like the little ***** that he is. oops

regarding the subject matter

- I am always amazed when fit is mentioned as a big issue in what concerns RTW shirts. I mean unless we talking Hilditch & Key (non slim fit) where the only way it fits well is if you are the typical obese american or are trying to smuggle a family of mexicans into the country- how can anyone argue that a RTW shirt is better than the other because it fits him so well when everybody here has totally different body shapes. So please fit cannot be a variable in the evaluation of reasonably cut shirts which includes most of the brands mentioned so far
-- I guess Tom ford must have some shape shifting shirts (such morons you can be)

- Manual details- there was a thread on this recently. Clearly unless you are a pedantic idiot who cares about things like whether the buttons were sewed on by the hands of an italian virgin or by a machine. Are they well stitched on? thats enough

-how many of the people commenting on this thread actually owns zileri sartoriale shirts?please raise your hands.

- for those who argue that parasites like spoo know more about shirts because they have handled more of them, i say how many shirts can one person wear in a year enough times (5 min) In order to get a feel for the quality of a shirt ? I have more than 150 shirts which are less than 3 years old which means that many of them i dont even remember they exist

-Kiton is a rip off. Buy zileri sartoriale

i agree. i got a TF shirt and was really let down by the quality....it was a bit slimmer than i hoped, btu if i had gotten the proper size it wouldve fit perfect with no alterations. Kiton is good enough in terms of fit though and the quality is so high that it has me spoiled. same wiht finamore too...quality is good, but those collars are the cats ****.

that being said, im still planning on picking up a coulple tf shirts soon

Tom Ford shirts are made by Zegna I believe. Zegna shirts tend to be decent, but not amazing. I am not entirely sure that Tom Ford shirts are any better quality wise than regular Zegna shirts. But shirking away from the quality factor, Tom Ford shirts get kudos for fit and look - two factors that make the shirts among my favourite brands, if not my favourite brand for shirts at the moment.

Finamore shirts are wonderful and on a par with Borrelli. I only own a single Finamore shirt I scored off eBay for something like $139, I will definitely plan to get more in the future. I do keep tabs every 2 or 3 weeks to see if the main Finamore seller on eBay has updated his inventory.

Only thing I wonder is: Outside of some high end bespoke maker, any shirt brand out there on a par or better than Kiton in terms of quality? I dont think I have seen a more well made shirt brand than Kiton.

come to teh dark side. ;) seriously. I cant tell you how great the collars and fit are on both of those. It took me awhile to give em a shot because i didnt think they could be that much better than charvet or T&A.
they are.

notsureifsrs... they are not better than charvet. Also, are you implying that charvet and Turnbull are on the same level?
