Fine, flame me if it pleases you. I got a couple of relevant answers which is all I was after.

A lot of Ryan Goslings' shirts are from Patrik Ervell, at least the ones he wears in real life, not the movies' one.

You do admit though that is was a pretty lame first post.
a.) Why would any man watch Crazy Love, Stupid or any other Ryan Gosling movie?
b.) Why are you obsessed with this guy?
c.) Why would you describe any man as "sexy as hell"?
d.) Nothing special about the shirts or collars so I (assumed that) this whole thing was a joke/troll

there should be a subforum for "how do i dress like [this movie star]"

Aha, but lame first post does not equal trolling.

a) I watched Crazy Stupid Love because I watched Drive and thought I'd watch another of his movies.

b) Because he's much more handsome and well dressed than me.

c) Because not all men are averse to admitting another looks hot. Besides it's the look I like more than the actor. Could have been anyone. I like Cary Grant equally well.

d) That's what I came to find out! I didn't know there was nothing special about his collars until the other posters said so.

I think his shirts are Bijan. Only Bijan will look like that. Call the store and have them send some.

I don't see what's so objectionable about what I said. To you it is, possibly and that's your opinion. Thanks to the other posters who gave helpful answers.

You, like everyone else here, have a right to your own taste. However, on internet forums it is best to lurk, read, and learn before posting a faux pas--as you did.

Welcome to the interweb.

Welcome to the interweb.

You should get off his case. He simply asked a question.

Welcome to the interweb.

On the internet and in real life it is best to treat people as if they were actual people, before you look like a dick and scare them away.

It's ok, I'm not taking it personally. I'd probably flame me if I were him.

I gotta say thanks specially to the person who mentioned the wurkin stiffs, I watched a video on youtube and they look like they'd improve the look of my collars a LOT. I just ordered some, and some spray starch.

I am simply explaining to him what happened and why he was taken for a troll. In the end, he got his answer so we are all winners.
