Wellensteyn Quality and Functionality

I really like the look of the Wellensteyn jackets and seem to meet decent style with some functionality to it.  I was wondering if anyone with experience with them could comment on the quality, cold weather functionality (I live in Minnesota) and where they're made?

 

I appreciate it.  Part of what makes me hesitant is the lack of information on the website.
