Hickey Freeman 1155 Collection?

Has anyone heard of the 1155 collection tailored by Hickey Freeman? I'm looking at a suit on ebay and have never heard of this model. The inside tag says "1155 collection tailored by Hickey Freeman" and the model on the inside pocket is "1155 Collection". Thanks for any info.

These were a label HF used for suits sold at their factory store in Rochester and maybe elsewhere, in the 90's and perhaps more recently -- the company's factory/HQ address in Rochester is 1155 Clinton Avenue....

The make/construction on these suits was the same as their full-line suits; I think some of the suits were made specifically for the factory stores, while others may have been re-labeled from canceled retail orders.

I think that's my sale that you just inquired about on eBay, if I am not mistaken. I actually came to SF here to search on a better answer after I responded to you. The answer above makes sense, as I pick up lots of local HF suits due to the presence of the factory in the city. My perception has been that they predate the Canterbury & Boardroom models but are of similar quality. Let me know if you want to work something out through here...icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif
