I think it would look ok, but there is not anything exciting about it. The colors are all too similar. Maybe even just adding brown shoes and belt would make it a little better.

Black bluchers with denim of any colour other than blue is ok. (Blue denim as a last resort).
A tip for newbies: Wear colourful, or fun patterned socks to further liven up this combo.
