Proper length for a leather jacket - Page 2

OP: I remember seeing that on MrPorter and it seemed like a great jacket. It looks great on you as is. Unless you actually ride a bike and find it uncomfortable, I think it's perfect. Definitely don't spend the money and take the risk of taking it to be shortened.

Thanks for the input everybody! It's weird, since we get our suit measurements down to the quarter of an inch, to not really have such strict rules with other forms of clothing

I would have to see a closeup (Macro is best) of the overall suede and also the patina areas before making any suggestions.

I'll try to put some up tonight. I started working on the inside of the cuffs and collar last night with some spray can suede cleaner and a two suede brushes of different sized bristles and a lot of what I now consider to be the original owner's crud has been removed. Thanks for the response.

These were the original pics provided by the seller (who was NOT the original owner! lol8[1].gif ) before I purchased it. Can this jacket be saved? (Click to show)

Difficult but why buy something if you think it too long.

haha yeah when you're 5' 6" there's not clothes out there that are going to be the right height. Seems like this fits though.

altering the jacket might ruin the fabric
