Casual Mens Belt for McTavish and Chukka Boot

Hi all,

Currently looking for a belt that would work well with the natural leather AE McTavish as well as a camel suede chukka boot from Johnston and Murphy. What would you guys suggest? I was thinking about possibly getting a belt from Narragansett Leathers. Anyone have any experience with their belts? Do you think that the chestnut leather would match best, or something else? Also, do you think the 1.25 or 1.5 belt would be best?

A selection of belts from your suggested Narraganset Leathers site...

Any of these colors will go with either shoe.
I myself would probably wear either shoe with a nice belt of bridle leather or full grain and with contrast stitching.

One tip with casual shoes...explore contrast in the belt colour to the shoes for extra interest and fun.

Good suggestion and general advice! Any further suggestions on brands that I should look into that are of roughly the same price and of good quality?

Just wanted to mention that I had recently purchased and received a medium brown Narragansett Leathers belt with buckle 104BN. The belt itself is great - color is uniform, hand is smooth and the leather is quite supple. However, it's so narrow that it doesn't look anything but ridiculous with any of my slacks. It's my mistake for having bought a 1-1/8" width belt, but the wider belts are too wide at 1.44" IMO. The belts I have now are between 1.3" to 1.35" which works well for my loops.

Anyway, my two cents.
