Shrinking sanforized denim

hey,
i have an odd questions:
i just was able to snatch a pair o momortaro jeans for 50 bucks, unfortunately size 36 ( measures 35) and i am a 34.
now i would like to know if there is some sort of way of getting these to shrink somehow or is a tailor the only way?
thanks

they measure 36 or 35? why not sell them on and put the $$$ towards a pair that fit properly?

they measure 35.
well i quite like them. of course its a possibility but i wouldn't make enough profit to get a pair of momotaro this cheap.

The only way to try and shrink them a bit is to launder them in hot water and then dry in a hot drier

will try that. if it won't work keep an eye on b&s

If they are relatively new (not faded), do not put them in the dryer, from the creasing and folding while tumbling, you will get odd line fades.
