You should try them out in person at a store that sells them.

Converse low run about 2 sizes big. But since you have wide feet perhaps a half size down or even a full size.

sound like a 6.5

there's no way he would fit a 6.5 if he wears clarks in 9.5.

I have clarks db in 7 which are a little big and where a 6.5 in chucks. Shoes like nike sb's with all that padding I wear a 7.5-8 and nike sb janoski's I were 7.5.

I'd say size down 1 from your regular shoe size. If you go to converse site they have this thing where you choose your reg shoe size and then it tells you what size in converse you are. But like mentioned it's best to go to a store. FootLocker, Journey's, Actionfoot or what ever it's called, nordstrom..they all carry them.

Well that's the thing isn't it. Chucks are so often sold out and rare that they are impossible to try on. I was at Sacks Fit Avenue and they said I could try them on but it would cost $10. I replied "$10 to try on a $200 shoe? I'll go to Niman!" Fuck those guys

it's unfortunate that i work 100 hr weeks and dont have much time to go "shopping" like pebblegrain does, unless it's online
and when i get time to go out, all the shoe places are closed. any other help on sizing?

It's really too bad there are no places like Zappos that carry Converse and offer free shipping and free return shipping.

i thought maybe a simple forum post may save 1-2 weeks of shipping back and forth due to getting the wrong sizes

obviously this is not the case lol

if you really cannot find the time to go shopping, best get someone to buy multiple pairs for you during the day and then you can try them all on at night and keep the one that fits and have the others returned.
