Apparently, she breads and deep fries her diabetes medication.

True story.

But, when I refer to your recent editorial, I mean the one in which you call her "fatty hooptie." I just felt that perhaps you weren't using the term "hooptie" correctly.

Wear tweed like you would normally wear a sweater in Los Angeles. I find that if it's cold enough for a sweater in LA, which is to say you are a native or don't like the cold and it is 68F and below, a half-lined tweed (which I think is most common) over a sport shirt and some jeans will suit you fine. I've done this it doesn't get too hot. Though if someone has a heater on somewhere you may be screwed.

Hasn't some fashionable aesthete or fop or dandy or Duke done this somewhere sometime to make it possible; that is, if one has enough swagger?

Also, it will be cold this weekend in Los Angeles as a storm is headed or way. I will be wearing tweed, though I am afraid the thrift shop smell will waft out if it get wet while i'm running to catch a bus (i don't drink and drive mind you)

I thought tweed is only appropriate for really cold weather, ny or canada maybe.

^That entirely depends on the weight of the tweed. In a 10-ounce Breanish tweed you will freeze ass in the cold weather you will encounter in NY and Canada.

I find I can wear my 12-ounce tweed jackets into early July in Long Beach, depending of course on the temperature. I can even wear heavier tweeds walking the dog on cool summer nights.
