I liked it up until the macro floral prints my grandparents' curtains would vomit over. Some of the later ones and the earliest, more abstract floral prints work okay, but the first four or five that are identifiable as roses are just truly awful to look at.

The floral prints on the black overalls are the only one I'm not really feeling, some of the others might looks super kitsch upon close inspection but it doesn't really matter.

CDG is so great. After a few big name shows that barely elicited a response from me (even if some of them are very good) seeing this makes me happy. And I even like the floral prints (and don't forget, this is the same designer who made us pay more for polyester than wool...prints inspired by bad curtains are nothing).

which city do you guys think is most tolerable to fashion?

CdG was great, I love the awkward silhouettes. Part of me feels like they're making fun of this new gorilla arm trend.

Funny thing is that it's the only show where gorilla arms didn't look forced and ugly.


Thanks for the back shots Platypus, it's too bad most websites only have front pictures, way to miss half of the show, especially with collections like this one.

I like the throwbacks to the old Final Home stuff, mesh coats and scarves filled with pockets of down (instead of crumpled newspapers).

Sarah Burton is cool and all but this is one of the most yonic things I've seen in a show.
