What "RLPL" is this really?

Is this a real "RLPL" as in super expensive very good quality? I've never seen it made in USA and also I thought the Ralph Lauren name was in script? Can someone give me a quick heads up? Thanks!

Is this a combination of a very old tag, along with it being a Female piece? Someone confirm, I thought "Collection" was Women's & Women's accessories

Collection preceded Purple Label (the early nineties) and is nowadays solely for women.

i believe it's just the women's section of purple label. the quality is definitely not the same

It's an older women's equivalent of Purple Label. However, a lot of Collection items are made in China and the USA opposed to England and Italy. Just as expensive but not quite the same as the men's Purple Label.

Ralph Lauren Collection is a another one of their brands, men and women. That is how it used to look, now its just cursive script tags. Basically if its not a purple/black tab and in cursive its most likely Collection. Some times there are some very random stuff with no coherent reason as to where they fall into line-wise.

I think for the most part its womens. I think Women's will say Collection, whereas mens won't but I thought it was implied to be 'Collection'


I might be a little off, cause it seems like:

RL Collection Chukkas

Men's shoes in 'collection' show Collection in tags.
